Below is the latest information updated to us regarding the Novel Coronavirus outbreak. We will of course keep you posted with anything further.
We have been made aware that there are conflicting ‘return to work’ dates transpiring out of China. Some factories are insisting that they will return to work on the 10th Feb as planned, however, we have heard from a few local sources that their return will be pushed back to the 17th. From other sources, they have advised a date even later than this, pushing into March. We suspect this is likely still different for each Province; depending on the risk level. We have been made aware that the situation is changing each day.
Until we have any confirmed information, we will continue to communicate as best as we can with our local agents to unitedly assist with any pending shipments. As updated previously, the shipping lines are still advertising a large number of blank sailings which will implement departures from China.
We do hope you can appreciate that the situation is beyond our control.
