Please find below the latest update from IFE regarding the Novel Coronavirus outbreak.
As we are reaching the end of February, there are still many local offices who have not yet fully returned to work. We are still able to communicate daily with our agents to make bookings as and when factories and workers are slowly returning – all dependent on government containment measures.
Work force and resources are still limited in most areas of mainland China, and shipping lines are still advertising blank sailings and vessel omissions for February & March.
Although we cannot advise a time frame until the situation is fully contained, we are optimistic that all freight transport modes will see a rapid rise in demand soon. In the meantime, IFE are here to assist in providing shipping solutions in the current crisis.
