Container collection delays at UK Ports

Following on from our notice which we sent at the end of April, we wanted to update you further & advise that container collection delays at UK Ports are still at a significantly high level.

As you may be aware from our previous notice, COVID-19 has forced the Ports to implement necessary, high-density cleaning in all areas. This has manifested into delays and extended turnaround times. Along with this, there are limited available VBS slots per hour for hauliers.

This is very much still a present issue and we wanted to further bring this to your attention for your information and kind consideration during this time.

As usual, we will of course do everything possible to communicate any delays as soon as we are made aware. Many thanks for your continued patience and understanding. If you do have any questions regarding your deliveries, please do not hesitate to contact our Operations Team / your Account Manager.
