UK Haulage Issues – Update

We wanted to send an update to advise that the issues and delays with UK haulage and driver shortages are unfortunately only worsening. The current availability for UK haulage booking slots at the moment can be a wait time of anything up to 4-5 weeks, meaning in some instances, a container number may not have even yet been issued/received.

As you can imagine, the issues at the Ports and availability of HGV drivers are not quick fixes, and we do expect they will continue into the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, the issues are now acute and are at the most concerning point that the industry has collectively ever experienced.

Whilst we do appreciate that these delays are frustrating and often costly, at IFE we will always ensure we are making upmost efforts to best meet your requirements and exhaust every option available to us.
