A notice from the port advises that:

“Increased volumes aligned with bank holiday weekend has led to a high yard utilization, together with a high demand for boxes out of landside (rail/truck). VBS levels are being dynamically across all modules to maximise deliveries/collections as much as possible to keep containers moving through the port.

Operation stack has been implemented this morning to manage traffic flows. We fully understand trucks are experiencing a slow turnaround and we appreciate your understanding and support at this time.

Our operations teams are processing trucks/drivers as quickly and safely as possible.”
